Students’ individual requirements and needs for relocation help can vary widely depending upon their knowledge of Vancouver and Canada, the make-up of their family group, and factors such as education, lifestyle and budget. Other considerations could include the amount of on-going assistance needed.

Our service begins with a detailed analysis of the students’ various needs, and the identification and prioritization of objectives. We then propose a custom designed schedule for your relocation incorporating pre-arrival, arrival and post-arrival services.

OUR SERVICES COULD INCLUDE:

Pre-arrival Support

• Application for schools.
• Analysis of needs for accommodation.
• Discussion of wider needs for support.
• Short-list of suitable neighborhoods and accommodation options.
• Arrangement of temporary furnished or unfurnished accommodation.

On Arrival

• Maps of the city covering public transport and useful public services information.
• Hands on assistance with the following arrangements:
  • Utilities (phone, internet, cable, gas and electricity)
  • Temporary Health Care and BC Provincial Health Care.
  • School registration.
  • Banking arrangements.
• Extras (not inclusive):
  • Local orientation including tours of Vancouver and surrounding areas.
  • Arrangement for Driving licenses; regulations are strictly enforced.
  • Purchase or rental of cars and associated insurance.

Post-Arrival Support

New arrivals to any city, including Vancouver, will periodically feel a need to seek assistance and/or guidance on a myriad of issues in the weeks and months after moving here. You would not be on your own; we will be there to provide ongoing support.
