Emily Carr University of Art and Design (formerly Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design) is named after Canadian artist Emily Carr. ECU is one of the oldest public post-secondary institutes/university located on Granville Island in Vancouver, British Columbia that is dedicated to professional education and learning in the arts, media and design.

Emily Carr is an exciting learning community in visual arts, design and media arts.
